The ‘Time Has Come’ For A Global Pandemic Treaty, WHO’s Tedros Says

"At present, pathogens have greater power than WHO," World Health Organization leader Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Monday. "They exploit our interconnectedness and expose our inequities and divisions." Tedros is seen speaking earlier this month in Geneva, Switzerland.

Pathogens can blossom from an outbreak into a pandemic because they “exploit our interconnectedness and expose our inequities and divisions,” the World Health Organization’s leader says.

More than 150 children are missing in latest Nigeria kidnapping raid

Actor Gavin MacLeod, pictured in 2018, has died at 90. He was best known for roles on The Love Boat and The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

Gavin MacLeod, the veteran supporting actor who rose to fame on The Mary Tyler Moore Show before going on to even more success on The Love Boat, has died at age 90.

Democratic Republic of Congo hit with 61 earthquakes in a day following volcano eruption

Seismologists in the Democratic Republic of Congo reported 61 earthquakes in a 24-hour period on Saturday around the Mount Nyiragongo volcano, which erupted a week ago, warning residents to keep well away from lava flows.

The FAA Has Seen A “Significantly Higher” Number Of Unruly Passenger Reports In 2021

A Southwest Airlines plane, seen in November 2020. A flight attendant for Southwest was allegedly struck by a passenger and lost two teeth in the latest in a rash of violent attacks on planes.

400,000 people flee Goma after warnings of second volcanic eruption
